Single Layer vs Tubular Fabric

Single Layer vs Tubular Fabric

Traditional ways of making polymer fabrics calls for circular looms. PP or PE yarn is woven into long tubular strips of material on these machines.

Thereafter, the tubular fabric can be directly cut into sections and sewn at the base for the principle type of PP bags.

Alternatively, the circular woven material can be slit at the sides to make Single Layer PP woven fabric. These are suitable for applying PP or PE laminates prior to heat-sealed back and sewing bottoms to make laminated woven fabric bags.
